The focus of the gallery Stefan Röpke is to show works by 20th Century Masters as well as Contemporary Art especially between abstraction and figuration. Exhibitions of international highly reputated artists as Emil Schumacher, Fritz Winter, Robert Mapplethorpe and Georg Baselitz alternate with presentations of young artists as Adochi, Apostolos Palavrakis and Max Neumann. All classical medias in contemporary art are highly rated, among painting and sculpture also photography and installation.
A special interest is directed to Spanish Art and consequently a second space has been incorporated in Madrid in 1998. The modern tradition of outstanding Spanish artists like Eduardo Chillida, Julio González, Antoni Tàpies, Manolo Millares, Lucio Muñoz and Antonio Saura can be followed through the OEuvre of the young Spains Miquel Barceló, Enrique Asensi, Miguel Ángel Blanco and Alejandro Görnemann.
